How Can I Talk to a Person at Udemy Regarding My Course?

Hello,

My name is Ross Muellenberg. I am attempting to create a course on Udemy (called "Raw Food Philosophy").

I originally submitted my course, and got generalized feedback in the Course Feedback section saying I needed to update my visuals.

I have updated my visuals and re-recorded the videos for my course twice, and re-submitted for approval. All I keep getting is an automated response from "Udemy Associate" regarding my visuals.

"Whilst reviewing your course, we found some issues with the video quality. We have found that the visuals in your course do not appear to be dynamic and/or custom to the material as it is being taught.

For the best learning experience, instructors include things like slide presentations and/or pictures, which illustrate and respond directly to the lecture as it is read. We would expect to see visuals change regularly even within a single lecture to provide an engaging experience for the learner.

Please update your visuals in accordance with the Video Standards:"https://support.udemy.com/hc/en-us/articles/229232767-Video-Standards

The visuals for my course are 1. custom (my own presentation slides/images), 2. dynamic (with slides/images changing regularly within each lecture), and 3. clearly relevant to the material being presented.

I don't understand why my course keeps getting rejected. The "Course Feedback" section tells me to reach out to policy@udemy.com with further questions. All I get there are what feel like more automated responses. It feels to me like I am simply being bounced between bot/ai agent to bot/ai agent. All I can do is guess why my course is being rejected. I don't feel like I am actually speaking to a human being about my issue.

I'm simply trying to figure out why my course keeps getting bounced/rejected. To the best of my understanding, I am meeting the requirements listed under Udemy's official guidance for video standards.

I would appreciate it if someone looked at my case, and reached out to discuss further…

I now have also received feedback on a test video which is representative of the videos in my course. The feedback from the test video said that I should be passing standards for my video content.

Thank you for your post. I'm really sorry to hear you've been having such a frustrating experience getting your course approved.

Unfortunately, the Policy team is the only team to help with course quality review decisions, and here in the community we don't have access to account-specific information or the review details. I'd recommend replying to your existing email thread with policy@udemy.com and asking if they can provide more specific feedback on what still needs to be updated.

Regarding the Test Video Service, it's worth noting that the team only reviews the sample video you submit, not the entire course. So even if your test video passes, the full course review may still identify issues that need to be addressed.

I know that's probably not the answer you were hoping for, but I hope you're able to get some more detailed guidance from the Policy team. Wishing you the best of luck with your course!

The policy team is giving me absolutely no specific guidance. From a creator's perspective, both the "Udemy Associate" in the Course Feedback section and the responses I get from policy@udemy.com feel like ai agents. I feel like I'm hitting some type of algorythmic wall and can't get through. The only real personal feedback came from the test video, which told me I should be meeting standards. I literally don't know what to do. I have an entire course ready to go, I pass standards according to the personalized feedback I have received, and yet my course is not being accepted.
