How to get reviews or feedbacks from students?

I have launched my first free udemy course. I got 61 enrollments within a week. Few viewed the course and few haven't visited the course. But none of them completed the course or gave me a feedback for the course. Is there any option that we have to add any feature and only then students will be able to access feedback?

Are the 61 enrollments from students paying to purchase your course or is your course free? That makes a huge difference.

It's been my experience that only 1 in 5 students leave a rating. Of those 1 in 5, 1 in 5 of those leave any sort of meaningful review. And don't expect the vast majority of your students to actually complete your whole course. That almost never happens. When I purchase a course I usually only go through maybe half of it. I just pick what I want to learn about. It's almost never the whole course.

Yes, this is a familiar challenge, especially in the Marketplace. Most UB students leave a review, too many IMO 😉

You can try sending Educational Announcements. This can engage the students who have enrolled who may then be motivated to go through your Course.

Also, try and make the Intro and Promo and other free preview videos really engaging.

You can send out coupons (free and paid) to people you know, and request them to go through the Course and leave unbiased reviews. This is sometimes a problem, because the Udemy Spam filter can filter out reviews that it thinks are biased, or come from a biased source.

Not many students complete the course. From my experience 10% of the students leave reviews. I think the students are prompted to leave a review early on.
