Direct Deposit for non-US Instructors

None, sorry. I don't mean to be negative, but those things just haven't had any effect for me. The personal plan might, but that's too early to say. The direct deposits for non US instructors would have a huge impact, as we are losing 2-3% of our revenue in payment fees. We have been waiting for a long time without any word on it, so I surely hope it's being worked on!

    We know this is something instructors are eager to have, and in adding US bank transfer we're closer to being able to offer it. But offering bank transfer internationally has more operational and legal complexities than offering it only to US instructors. We're continuing to work through these, but we don't have a timeline on which we expect to roll out direct deposits for international instructors.

    Hi,

    It is 3 years since and when I checked, Udemy support said they do not have any plans to add direct deposit for non-US authors. Surprisingly, Udemy does not even have a plan for that even after realizing that the instructors are eager to have one.

    They have a kickback deals with payment providers so it's probably never going to happen as it's a revenue stream for Udemy.

    Your reply is really concerning. I request all the non-US-based authors to come forward and apply pressure on Udemy.

    2 years back Payoneer was charging 2%. Now they need more income and have started charging 3%. This is detrimental to author's welfare and finances.
