  • Hi all,

Shukki here from Chiang Mai, Thailand. I've been teaching English (and a little bit of Thai) for the past two years and am looking forward to the next step of my teaching journey: Udemy.

I'm planning to create a beginner's course for anyone who wishes to learn Thai.

Other than teaching, I love playing badminton, walking dogs and going hiking. Oh and most importantly, I love good food Looking forward to being a part of this wonderful community and to learn amazing things from everyone.

  • Thank You @Prof

  • Hi - my name is Amanda Hill - I started a company called The Social Media Cafe in 2010 and run a training and digital consultancy. We specialise in social and eCommerce and during lockdown, we sold 7 figures on Amazon ourselves. Businesses we work with have hit up to 6 figures.

I started as a journalist at 17 and worked for a national UK newspaper before digital stuff was a thing and have always taught something to others.

My training room and office is above our prep centre in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire and we have 2 resident office cats. We also have a rescue hamster and fish and a possibly pregnant young cat downstairs who we enticed out of the skip outside and has stayed til we can find out if she is or isn't expecting.. hopefully soon as we can't get close enough.

  • Thanks for sharing inspiring story. Welcome to Udemy World.

    Hello @Nflight

  • Hi everyone,

So great to have such a great platform to teach through.

I'm Eleftherios and I live in Dublin, Ireland. I am originally from Greece.

I'm an investment management professional with a decade of experience and I am also building a gamified financial education platform. I am passionate about technology and I am using AI to help me with my business. I am teaching how technology can improve work.

I used to be a semi-pro basketball player but I had to pay my bills, so now I am just playing pick up games.

Yiasou…I’ve been to Dublin twice…cool place. My parents immigrated to the US from Cyprus…..so my heritage is Greek. Great to connect!

  • Hi, there.

As an expert in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit, I have made it my mission to educate and empower the next generation of engineers and students. With roots in Lebanon and now residing in Saudi Arabia, I have honed my skills in utilizing various structural design software.

I have taken my passion for BIM, Revit, and structural design to the next level by joining Udemy, an advanced platform for professional development. Not only did I once join Udemy as a student, taking a PMP course, but now I am giving back as an instructor. My goal is to share my wealth of experience with others and provide valuable insights into the world of BIM and Revit.

I’m currently exploring Mexico…planning my 5th trip for 2023. Every time it’s to a different region, and I stay in local areas to experience the real daily life. They have a great luxury bus system, so I can name a bunch of places I’ve been to, and it’s been easy to navigate because of this. What I love so far is that people are kind and helpful, patient….and the food….wow.

  • Hello!

My name is John Godoy and I am from Chicago!

I have published one course on communication skills, and plan to create more in that field as well as human performance, and confidence.

I joined the instructor community for several reasons:

    1) To get a better understanding of how the Udemy platform works

    2) To learn some course creation best practices

    3) To assist others where I can

A fun fact about me is that I have a patent on an exercise device that I co-invented and brought to market.

  • Nflight,
Have fun creating courses, and give fun to your students and do not give away all the fun to your students, keep a little, just a little fun for us your community instructors.

Good luck on your courses creation and teaching!!!
    Best regards,
