Review Process Taking Longer than 2 Business Days

Hi, on March 19th I've submitted a review for a course to get approved. Within a few hours they got back to me indicating to me to change the course thumbnail picture, which I did right away. However, I haven't heard from them since. It's been 3 business days. I was wondering if this sort of thing is normal, as it says it takes 2 business days, and if I can do anything from my end to speed up the review process?

    Hello @IndyJeed
    CostcoESS

It’s not uncommon for the course review process to take longer than initially estimated. Let’s explore some factors that might be contributing to the delay and discuss potential steps you can take:

    Workflow and Review Cycles:
The review process involves multiple stages, including storyboard review, prototype review, and beta testing. Each cycle allows for feedback and revisions.
In your case, since you’ve already made the requested change to the course thumbnail picture, it’s possible that the subsequent review cycles are still in progress.
Tip: You can inquire about the current stage of the review process to get a better understanding of the timeline.
    Communication Channels:
Check if there’s a designated communication channel for course review updates. Sometimes notifications might end up in spam folders or get missed.
Tip: Reach out to the relevant team or point of contact to inquire about the status of your course review.
    Course Development Policies:
Different institutions and platforms have varying policies regarding course review and approval. Some may adhere strictly to the estimated timeframes, while others might allow for flexibility.
Tip: Refer to any official documentation or guidelines provided by the platform to understand their specific review process.
    Patience and Follow-Up:
While waiting, remain patient. Reviewers may have other tasks or responsibilities, and delays can occur.
Tip: Send a polite follow-up email or message, expressing your eagerness to move forward and asking for an update on the review status.
    Self-Check:
Double-check your submission. Ensure that all requested changes have been made correctly and that there are no additional issues.
Tip: Review your course materials to make sure everything aligns with the platform’s guidelines.
