How should I promote my course that I will publish on udemy.
Hi @NehaMalikGoel, Congratulations on publishing your course. It may take some time to start generating enrollments for your course, but we have excellent resources in the community that can help you with marketing. Also, our community instructors found success in sharing their courses with people they know coworkers, family, friends, or a group who is interested in your course topic. You can use your social media, too. Gaining traction in your course takes time and a lot of effort. Please check the following posts that have discussed this:
I hope this helps!
There are many ways, let me list them here 1) Share it on your social media pages (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc) 2) Sending emails to your email list (if you have one) 3) On your website 4) Word of mouth and Collaborations 5) Facebook ads, Google ads
Hello,
Start promoting your course before you publish it. Use Udemy's promotional coupons and announcements to reach their existing student base. Write blog posts, create YouTube videos, or go live on social media to drive traffic mywisely com to your course page. Encourage your first students to leave a review. Positive reviews are the most important factor for getting more sales on Udemy.
@NehaMalikGoel,
It's hard to promote a single course. I generate almost half my revenue sending $9.99 discount coupons to my existing students via promotional announcements. But then, I have 160,000 students. Without a second course, there's no one to send promotional announcement to :-(.
Another method is to post $9.99 discount coupons to Facebook groups. This hasn't worked well for me. Go to your Facebook Home and click on Groups in the left hand navigation pane. Enter "Udemy discount" in the group search box. Join and post to as many groups as you can tolerate.
Hope this helps,
