Compression of videos using handbrake

Hey 

Did  anyone use handbrake software to reduce video size?

What's your best settings for reducing the size without sacrificing the quality

I have always used it for all of my videos.

Usually, I set a video quality of 10.  For the promo videos, I tend to use a slightly smaller number (better quality).

Why should you reduce your video quality when there is the Udemy system that does that once you upload your video?
