Can I invite for an optional live workshop at the end of the course?

Hey Fellow Instructors,

Can I invite students to register for a live workshop (optional) at the end of the course? This workshop is out of the scope of my course but is relevant and would help the students taking up this course. 

I plan to do this by adding a separate section at the end of the course.
