How do I get sales with my 1st course?

I published my 1st course a week ago. I got students with a free promo code. However I got just 1 paying student. 

Can you give some tips to get more sales.

Do you know someone that can help me market the course with good results?

I would like to know how to get someone to the site.  Do I send out emails and tell them to come to udemy and look for the class or what?

Sending your existing contacts towards your course is a great way to start. Also think about SEO in your title, subtitles and landing page to help people find the course organically.
