Hello everyone,
I wondered what your first point of call in promoting your course was?
Do you rely mostly on Udemy or do 50% of promotion outside - or even more?
I am particularly interested in how the Udemy algorithms work to recommend my course to potential students? + any other channels like email.
Also, any tips on how you got your first students would be great!
Thanks,
Bianca

Hi @BiancaP28 Udemy algorithm will promote you by showing your course in the searches and it also depends on the words you use in creating your course.
So i think for your first few students you can completely rely on Udemy and can further opt for marketing your course through promotion.
Udemy will always help you out so don't worry
Udemy's Algorithm is really very impressive you will see by yourself when you get your first course published
