That's a good question. If a moderator could answer this question as well:
How does Udemy profit from its users activity? Such as posting courses and making sales on courses.

Hi @DaniyaImam16 That is a good question. The short answer is no. You do not need to pay anything to Udemy in advance or after to publish, market, and host your courses on the platform. However, there is a revenue split between Udemy and you for each sale. The revenue can vary between sales. You can earn 97%, 50%, or 25% of the sale, here you can have detailed information of the revenue share. In other words, Udemy will earn only if you earn.

As an instructor, the company pays only 37%, in my case, I still paid 24% of tax, so I got only 13% . Ridiculous. That's ridiculous, so I hid my course.
