Why is it always advisable to use an external mic rather than inbuilt one?

    Typically internal mics won't provide the sound quality that a good external mic will offer. For example, I use a USB Blue Yeti Mic and a Sony A6400 to record my courses. The Blue Yeti gets much better sound quality then the internal mic on the A6400.
