Revenue generated via free coupons

Hi everyone,

I'm yet to publish the first course. I was wondering if the instructors receive any revenue if they use the free coupons(3 day unlimited/30 day limited).

Searched online but didn't find anything.

You are asking if you use free coupons, you get paid? 

Free coupons make $0, you get that.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it's obvious that the free coupons generate $0 revenue. However, they're limited in number. I thought maybe since they're limited, Udemy has some sort of support incentive in place, at least for the 30-day limited coupon.

If you give free coupons for your 1st course, you better create at least a 2nd course.

Means you have a revenue opportunity from people who got the 1st course for free as they might buy the 2nd course.

Also, people who got the 1st course for free might tell other people of your course and they pay for this.
