Hi
I am preparing the material of my first course; it would be 90% slideshow course… I really don’t have previous experience. Please advise me regarding the following:
- How to make my slideshows? Is PowerPoint sufficient?
- How to do screen filming? Is Screencast-o-matic good for that?
- My plan to film my course is: to move the slideshow and start talking so Screencast-o-matic will screen cast the slideshow while recording my voice… Is this right?
Thanks
Anas

Hi @Anas-Hafez
What's your topic? Talking over Powerpoint can be pretty boring for students. Can you teach differently? Have you taught this course in-person before?

Thanks. It is a language course.
Yes indeed I taught it in person.
At first I thought of making it a video course but while I am preparing the material I discovered that it would be too long and Filming and editing would be exhausted

Making a great course takes a long time and is exhausting. I would recommend doing what it takes to make the course the best possible.
