Ideally most Video editing courses are centered around the software, eg Adobe Premiere Pro course, or Final Cut Pro, etc.

I think you should cover the software but then go a step further or differentiate by helping someone know how to specifically edit YouTube videos, or a documentary, or a commercial etc
