What is the best way to add Quiz, Practice exercise, assignments ?

Hello everyone.. 

I want to ask that what is the best way to add practice exercise for students in my course? And how Do I add Downloadable resourse?

Do I convert my slides into pdf file or please tell me some other way to add these things ..
