    Hi @kakakamal12
, our marketplace model means that when you publish a course on our platform, you retain all the rights to your content. You simply grant us a license to host the course and make it available to our users, and to advertise your course on our platform and on third party services.

These license terms are outlined in detail in Udemy’s instructor terms. You can also offer your course on other services, but we ask that your course is never offered for a lower price than on Udemy. You can get more info about this here: https://support.udemy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013339928-Promotions-Policy-

    Hope this helps!

The above answer will not apply to courses in the Udemy For Business (UFB) program after July 15th.

It was just announced that the terms of the program will be modified to require exclusivity, which means that if your courses are selected for the program, you will lose the freedom mentioned by Abbie in her previous reply.

EDIT: I failed to clarify that you can opt-out of the UFB program if you want to.

    Hi @kakakamal12
, as Carlos mentioned, Udemy for Business terms will be different as of July 15th. Inclusion in the program is definitely optional, however, hosting your own content in a way where you're totally controlling distribution would still be okay.
