Captions and sub-titles

Hi all,

I've created my videos already. As they are intended for learners of English, I created them with English and Chinese sub-titles. Now that I've got to the point of uploading them I've come across the Udemy captions function. Can I just use the captions I created myself? Or do I need to delete them and use the Udemy captions function in order for my course to be listed as captioned?

Hi @PeterMcMill782, great question! You can definitely use your own captions, they will still appear on your course landing page for students and your course will be listed as captioned in these respective languages.
