We are excited to bring you another webinar that focuses on Course Quality! On March 28th from 2:00pm - 3:00pm ET we’ll be sitting down with Community Champion @MarkLassoff
, Josh Cavelier, and Matt Pierce to discuss the science, the stats, and the structure for your courses.
Here is a bit of background for each of our panelists:
Josh Cavelier (The Science) has, for over twenty-five years, been sharing his knowledge and passion for educational media with thousands of learning and media professionals.
Matt Pierce (The Stats) is the learning and video ambassador for TechSmith, the maker of Camtasia. He speaks around the world about video.
Mark Lassoff (The Structure) has been a Udemy instructor since 2011 and works in several online learning domains.
During the interview, Mark, Matt, and Josh will take your questions, so this is your chance to ask them any of your burning questions regarding anything related to improving the quality of the courses.

,First of all, thank you for arranging the recording, I noticed the in the chat this is useful for more people as well.
For the question I wanted to ask you: I have created two quality courses (sorry, perhaps it's a bit touting my own horn to say I created quality courses, but well I mean they are well-structured and professionally shot & edited, and the test video got a 5-star review and no points of improvement from the Udemy test video portal) and I am looking for the best next step with marketing & selling them.
So far I offered them for free initially to get ratings and a start with the student count, which worked out well, but since I switched to paid (Tier 1 only), the sign-ups and visits have dropped to almost zero. I'm curious to learn how you would best go about getting paid students on Udemy (or via other channels, without becoming spammy or salesy).
Keen to hear your thoughts and thank you so much!
