Hi, i am in the process creating my 1st course in Udemy

May i know what is the difference between Course Image and Promotional Video?

Is it necessary to create Course Image if i already have Promotional Video?

    Yes, you need both. The course image is what is shown alongside your course in search listing, when students are browsing courses, and in any external marketing. It is hugely important.

    The promo video only exists on your course landing page, but they will see the course image before they get there.
