Is there any error message showing up while uploading the videos or what is exactly the issue that is stopping you from uploading them?
Please take a look at this article about "How to Troubleshoot Video Uploading Issues" which may help you to resolve it.

I have a question I am looking to add images to the articles but it is not possible, I am looking to add thumbnails to the videos thanks

While uploading a course image for your landing page is required, it's currently not possible to select thumbnails for individual articles or course videos. However, you can insert an image directly into an article by clicking on the icon shown below.
