Unpublished due to forced AI
Away on a work trip during the AI opt-out period, I missed the window for opting out and am seriously angry there is no way to contact anyone about this. My content is passive, and I don't care a lot about it, so I was going to just delete my whole account… but I can't because of a pending $3 payment.
Anyone else in a similar boat?
Also ridiculous that it's under "introductions" for someone who's been here since 2016, but whatever, another example of childishly limited choices.

I very intentionally opted OUT as soon as I got the email that I would need to and I still got signed up for it! Fortunately, I hadn't started posting classes here yet. Now I definitely won't be.

Wow! It is amazing what people get excited about.
So @susanrm is upset that she can't close her account because of a pending $3 payment. Let me help. And, your content is "passive and I don't care about it." Yet the anger. Its not good for the health.Susan, I'll give you the $3 so you can relax. Send me your address to lmmiller@lmmiller.com and I will send you three dollars in cash today! Be happy!
There are much better, more significant things to be upset about.

Hi @LHolloway,
Thank you for your comment, and we apologize for the confusion. Unfortunately, a small number of instructors received a notification email despite being opted out of the GenAI program. Therefore, I recommend double-checking your GenAI program settings with our instructor support team at instructorsupport@udemy.com.
We appreciate your cooperation, and please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

@LawrenceMMiller Not fare. I appreciate your thought process, very true and justified but you are disrespecting someone by offering $3. Sentiments must be respected, we do not know in what difficult situation the other person is. Regards

@LawrenceMMiller I have to agree with Sofia. Also, I don’t think this is about Susan needing the $3, this is probably all about Udemy not allowing to shut down your account when there is pending payment.
