Hello

I'm a new instructor. I've uploaded my course and getting students and some reviews. However, when I take a look at some of the students listed that have bought my course, I'm wondering if it's possible that some could hack into these accounts or courses. Some seem legit, meaning they have other courses that have been purchased, etc… but some look like generic profiles.

Again, this is my first time posting a course here and just wanted some clarity. Thanks for your kind assist / quick response.

Agree. There are some who do sabotage. You can understand who can do this, when we think about what could be motive. But we have to live with it. Because it is difficult to prove.

There will always be bots who buy your course immediately after it getting uploaded, download the content, then refund the course, this happens with literally everyone of us.

The bad news is that there is nothing you can do about it.

But the good news is that it has almost zero effect on your sales, real Udemy students won’t go search on illegal websites for courses, so just forget about it and you eill learn to ignore it.
