Udemy Business Program

hi.
The Udemy Business Program rules state:
You also agree that, if your course is selected for inclusion, you will not begin to offer any equivalent on-demand content on any competitor site or platform other than your own.
I want to offer my courses in a language other than Persian on Udemy, is there any problem with me posting the Persian version on Persian educational platforms?
Because there is actually no competition between Udemy and Persian platforms, since it is unlikely that I will be able to sell Persian films on Udemy, and on the other hand, I only offer non-Persian courses on the Udemy platform.

Hi @Hasheminejad Thanks for bringing up this question. According to Udemy’s policies, if your course is selected for inclusion in the Udemy for Business program, it serves as your sole third-party partner for reaching business customers. This means you are free to host your course on your own site, where you maintain control over sales and marketing, but no other platform.

Regarding your concern about offering a Persian version of your course on other platforms,  I recommend confirming specific details about your course language with our Trust & Safety team by sending an email to policy@udemy.com for more information.

    I hope this helps!

  • Hi @ElianaC,

I would like to take the opportunity to ask a related question: as mentioned, we are allowed to host our courses on our own website. However, if I decide to host the courses on a third-party platform (which is not a marketplace), solely as a storage solution and use it for promotion only through my website, with the possibility of affiliates helping to sell the courses, would this be allowed? Or would this practice violate any rule of the Udemy Business program?

Thank you in advance for your guidance!
