New Instructor - Sales Expectations

Hi,

I am a new instructor teaching SEO and developing digital marketing courses. My question is what can I project my sales to be as a new instructor. Can anyone share what they made on average monthly?

    No one can answer that because it depends on how good an instructor you are and how good your course is. Look at the best selling courses in your category and ask yourself if your course will be more appealing than those courses. It is a very competitive marketplace.

    A fellow instructor in this forum recently computed the median revenue per course at about $15-$20 per month.

    A few do much better. Half do worse.

    Like Lawrence said, it depends on how competitive your topic is. There are 238 existing SEO courses on Udemy that have a head start on you. You have to offer something substantially better than what's out there, and find a way to build social proof in the face of that competition.

    For SEO, you can look up specific information using the marketplace insights tool. It will tell you that the median income for SEO courses is $14 / month.
