I need help in marketing my first course. Any suggestions?
Hello everyone,
I am very happy to have published my first online seminar and I am very happy about the result so far. Nevertheless I wonder how to reach out to students.
I am a hairdresser with 30 years experience and have worked for about 16 years in education. This is my first experience online.
How do I start promoting and where?
Is it the best using social media?
Or any adds?
Or SEO on my website?
Is there any special tools on udemy that I can use?
I am grateful for any advice :)
Thanks in advance.
Chris

Hello @Lalemana Congratulations on publishing your first course! 🎊
With 30 years of experience as a hairdresser and 16 years in education, you must have so much valuable knowledge to share.

Hello @Lalemana- You course looks awesome. Great job on your audio and camera work.
It looks like you might already be promoting to your social media channel, such as Instagram. I would also suggest looking for any online message boards, LinkedIn or Facebook groups that cover your topic. Anywhere potential students gather online looking for content on your specific topic. Adding a "blog" to your site might be a good way to create small snippets of content that can help drive traffic and tie in your social media channels.
Good luck with your course.
