Hi,

I am Dr. Ritu Sangal, an artist and art and craft educator for over five decades.

I am from Delhi, India, and spend half the year with my family in Atlanta.

I teach different media and traditional Indian painting styles at my studio in Delhi. For first-year art and design students, I teach a six-month foundation course in "Basics of Fine Arts'. I teach online as well as offline. Media I work in are watercolor, oil, acrylics, Tanjore, enamel and textile printing among others. My paintings are in many corporate and private collections. My one painting is in the President's House of India. I have the Delhi State Award for Tanjore Paintings.

I decided to share my experience and knowledge to reach a wider audience. A strong art foundation goes a long way in a creative journey.

My father served in the Indian army and I was exposed to the crafts of different states from a young age.
