Elevate Your Udemy Course to New Heights!
Recently, I had people writing to me claiming they can help me achieve the above.
They claimed to have a proven strategy, that can make my course rank higher than competitors, gain more exposure, and attract a larger audience.
And they are quite persistent.
Is there anyone who can share how these people operate?

Hi Tim,
Lately I've been receiving many such emails. As far as I'm concerned it's complete nonsense. I think they call themselves "digital marketers". My advice is not to waste your time with them. Or they suggest getting you 1000 free students who will be active. Nonsense. If they were to get me a paying student then I would give them a percentage, say 50 cents per student.
Also ask to see their webpage, etc.
Perhaps someone else has had a better experience but probably best to ignore or if you're nice then ask how much does it cost and what exactly are they offering. In any case I believe it's a waste of time and money.

I always, without fail, seem to get an influx of these as soon a I launch a new course, so the short of the long its a scam and they violate Udemy policies with their so-called "marketing", with a probable ban on the horizon for whomever use their services.

Thanks guys for the feedback. At least I know I am not alone.

Ignore them. They charge you money and generate fake reviews. It will not help you in the long term and it is against Udemy policy.

I got the same thing when my TEDx was Posted. A guy recently contacted me with only a gmail, no business or web information, so I wrote him back that I considered the message a scam based on that. He kept writing until I just said I wasn't interested. I've also gotten feedback here that it was not permitted.
I greatly appreciate this forum!
