I don't use these, however I do like keynote for life.

I use screenflow but it is kind of expensive. I heard OBS is good and free. I've also heard of people using Devinci resolve
Do i need a special microphone ?
Don't get a blue yeti. It picks up too much background noise. I use a dynacaster SE which is great.
Basically do i create an awesome video ?
The question is vague. I'd recommend amazing audio, mention very briefly what you're going to cover in a given lecture. Try to keep lectures in the 4-8 minute range. Get feedback from friends. Get feedback from Udemy using the test video.
Good luck!

My own setup.
Presentation software - Microsoft PowerPoint. Good enough for me.
Recording tool – OBS. It’s free and there’s plenty of features you can make use of
Mic – Fifine AM8. Cheap and have good reviews.
Awesome Video ? – Depend on individual liking. Can take a look at different intros and see how you would like to present your lectures.
Camera – don’t forget to get a reasonably good camera. I use Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite. Not too expensive but gives good image quality.
Bottom line is - you must look good, sound good and have a clear presentation.

PowerPoint has everything. You can make good slides with animations, transitions and other effects. You can record voice in slide show or off-line. You can do screen capture along with audio.
Generate mp4 from above work.
If you have sound proof room, even good quality ear phones can be enough.

Hello @techxus -
I use OBS (www.https://obsproject.com/) to record my screen captures as well as any talking head videos. Great software, it's free to use and has loads of bells and whistles.
PowerPoint is a great tool to create and present your presentations.
You can use OBS to capture the presentation as you present the content.
If any current microphone you have isn't cutting it, I would look into investing in a good quality mic and dial in any settings. The Blue Yeti Mic is a quality less expensive mic.
