in First-time course creation

I've had courses on Udemy for over 2 years and have uploaded my 4th course, Udemy have asked me to send a verification video and sign an affidavit! Had anyone else had this happen, not sure what the reason is!

    I believe every instructor has to do it eventually.

    Whilst it's an inconvenience to many, if you consider the fact that it's a security measure, it's warranted and welcomed by many.

    I accept that but they are saying there's a discrepancy but won't tell me what it is!

    Yes Alex it's all sorted, it was because my course was presented by someone else.

    Did you just signed and sent or 1st asked them what is wrong.

    Did they replied to your query before signing the affidavit?

    My course was presented by someone I know and Udemy wanted to make sure the course hadn't been copied.

    Your will have to find out about your course it could be a different problem.

    Yes, happened with me. It's highly disrespectful towards instructors and upon email uddmy fails to give any specific information about suspected content.

    I am having well running courses more than may be 4 yrs. All including my new made with my voice, my creativity and my personal laptop.

    This is clear that udemy fails to understand originality and any legal document should not be given AT ALL when it's my original content.

    I deleted my new course.

    Udemy was good around 2018-19, with this policy of irritating instructors in this era when multiple platforms welcoming us with money than uddmy ( it's instructors big adjustment selling cheapest as under a dollar..!!!!) uddmy is welcoming their own downfall.

    Udemy should treat us with more respect for consistency of collaboration since yrs.
