How do I earn a community chamption badge
I see some instructors have badges. How do you earn badges and especially community champion badges?

Every two years, Udemy holds a Fortnite competition. If you can beat me, you can have my badge.

is in a joking mood today apparently. I think he meant to say Call of Duty...we can't let Fortnite settle a champion dispute!
Seriously, though, the "champions" badge is one that is given to people who have been a part of Udemy for a long time, made significant time investments into helping others here in the community, and then Udemy asks them to join the "champions".
Basically, every champion is just an instructor like you (we don't work for Udemy and we don't get paid for being a champion). We are just folks who love Udemy and support their mission.
Udemy saw us answering lots of questions and helping people, and so we were "elevated" to being official "champions".It is one of those things that by the time you get the badge, everyone already knew your name from being so helpful in the past.
Scott is a good example of this (normally). When I joined Udemy in 2016 as an instructor, Scott would answer my endless questions about SEO, rankings, marketing, videography, etc in the old Facebook group (before we moved here).
Scott earned his champion badge by being the "big helper" and he has been on Udemy for at least 5 years now.
Thanks!

It will be set in the after times.

You seem to have called a "gathering of Champions". What could possibly go wrong!
Honestly, it won't get you a free cup of coffee.
