Hello Instructors!

It’s June, and this month’s theme is Learning Design! We’d love for you to stop by our coffee chat and network with fellow instructors while sharing your experience improving the design of your online courses.

What is a virtual coffee chat?

The community virtual coffee chats are hour-long informal networking sessions held via Zoom. During these sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to network with and get to know other Udemy instructors worldwide.

How does it work?

June’s theme is Learning Design, so for the first 30 minutes, we will discuss various questions about the topic of Learning Design aspects of course recording. Then we will open the floor for some questions you may have for other instructors regarding Learning Design as an instructor.

How do I sign up?

Glad you asked! You can sign up for the coffee chat here!

We look forward to seeing you on Friday, June 28th at 11:00am PT!

*We understand that this time may not be ideal for all time zones, however, we will change the times of the coffee chat each month to accommodate different locations.

  • Hello i´m excite to enjoy this meeting see you tgere regards

  • Regards!

  • I received several comments from those registered in my training programs regarding the delay/or non-appearance of their comments/evaluations on attendance at some of my courses.
Of course, this negatively affects requests for these programs from others. Is there a reason for that?

  • How do I publish my ebook?

    Hi @ZaherB.AL-A223
    ,

I hope you are doing well. Could you please confirm if you are referring to reviews from students that aren't yet visible on your course landing page? If so, please keep in mind that it can take up to two weeks for the reviews to appear.

If you have any specific questions or concerns, I recommend contacting our policy team at policy@udemy.com.

Thank you! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hi @TzesouompoG130
    ,

Great question! If you want to become an instructor on Udemy, you will need to create video content for a course, as publishing an e-book only is not an option. However, you can base your course on your e-book if you wish, or attach it as a resource of your online course.

When publishing a course on Udemy, it must meet the following requirements:

    • At least 30 minutes of video content
    • At least 5 separate lectures
    • Valuable educational content
    • HD video quality (720p or 1080p)

Before you start creating a course, I recommend checking out this official and free Udemy courses about course creation to help you get started.

  • Hello, everyone. I'm excited to continue sharing content with the entire Udemy community. I have a question.

How do I know if my course is eligible to participate in Udemy Business? And if it is eligible, how do I see the metrics of those courses? Thanks in advance.

    Hi @antoniomorenosm
    ,

Yay, we would love to see you around! Happy to clarify your questions about Udemy Business.

First, you need to ensure that you are eligible for Udemy Business. To do this, navigate to your promotional agreements and ensure that the checkbox for opting into the Udemy Business Content Subscription is checked.

However, there is no guarantee that courses will be added to Udemy Business, a certain factors can influence your chances:

The team uses various marketplace signals to identify potential candidates for inclusion. Courses are also evaluated based on different factors such as ratings, learner engagement, instructor track record, and curriculum fit to determine their suitability for Udemy Business.

You may find it helpful to check out this teaching center article, which offers tips on optimizing your courses for Udemy Business.

Once your course is added to Udemy Business, you will receive an email notifying you of its inclusion. Additionally, you may begin to see new students in your student list with an Udemy Business tag. You can also access more insights into the performance of your courses included in Udemy Business through the Performance overview page under the Udemy Business section.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have additional questions.

  • @MarinaT

Excellent, thank you for the very detailed answer you have given me.

I noticed that none of my courses have been chosen for Udemy Business yet. I will strive to have one of my upcoming courses selected.

    Best regards!
