Thank you for taking the time to read my question. I'm 14 years old and interested in creating a course on Udemy. I’d like to know if there are any age restrictions or if I need parental consent to proceed.

Hi thomas598henry, According to our Terms of Use, you must be 18 years old to publish a course on Udemy. If you are between the ages of 13 and 17 years old, you can, however, publish a paid course with the consent of a legal guardian. It's great that you are considering creating a course on Udemy.
With regards to your question, the Udemy Terms of Use say:
Students and instructors must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Udemy and use the Services. If you are younger than 18 but above the required age for consent to use online services where you live (for example, 13 in the US or 16 in Ireland), you may not set up an account, but we encourage you to invite a parent or guardian to open an account and help you access content that is appropriate for you. If you are below this age of consent to use online services, you may not create a Udemy account or use the Services, regardless of parental or guardian assistance or consent.
