Udemy team - Why should an update go on Friday, now it seems no resolution till Monday.

Honestly, it's concerning that you still haven't resolved this issue.

Same here. My courses were 4.5+ rating but now they are 3.8.

As far as I am concerned old reviews rotate out after a certain time. So if you had a rating of 4.xx and old reviews that did drag down the average rotated out of the calculation, your ratings would rise. If old good reviews rotated out so that more less-good ones remain, the final score would decline.

Hi @Voider2049 So, if you haven't had any reviews in the last X months, this means that your course will be rated at 0. Does this make sense? IIt's clear that there's a problem, and Udemy is looking into it.

@Abderrazzaq Kharroubi yes, if all your reviews that made the score are too old and rotate out while you didn't get any new ones in the meantime, the score would be 0 as there are no eligible reviews available to make a score.
I think it's 12 months, after then reviews rotate out of the calculation.

I have seen this happen time and time again, just today my course rating dropped another .02, which isn't too bad on its own, but it already dropped over .2 in the last month, with no changes in ratings, so now my course that had a nice 4.6 rating, is getting down to a 4.3, with no changes in ratings from students.
I am not going to constantly bug my students to leave a review, it is up to them to leave a review if they so choose. The Udemy system is ridiculous if it literally removes reviews that have been left by previous students since that was "too long ago", come on, so their input and opinion is no longer valid because they were early adopters and jumped onto the course years ago.? If they have "lifetime" access to the course, then their review should last a lifetime too….
