Can I share my FREE coupon in the course description?
Hi! I have a course here that is longer than 2h, so I can't make it open (FREE).
I want to get a few people enrolled to get some feedback and I am offering it for free, but I am wondering what's the best way to do it.
Can I create an open - FREE coupon and share that coupon code in the course description for 5 days so that anyone can access it for free in this period? Not the people who I send the coupon to, but anyone who sees my course on Udemy?
Thanks!

Hi @cssgamelab Thanks for your questions. As your colleagues mentioned, to comply with Udemy's guidelines, coupon codes should not appear on the course landing page, but rather should be shared by you via your network, promotional emails, website, and social media. You can learn more about the best practices for sharing coupons and referral links in this article.
I hope this helps!

Hi,
I don't think coupon can be shared in course descriptions.
But I saw some instructors sharing coupons while responding to review remarks. I am not sure even if this is allowed.
You can try adding bonus lecture at end of each course. In that lecture you can share coupons and other updates like future courses etc

Hi @EBodhisathva,
Great point! Yes, the bonus lecture is the primary place on Udemy.com where instructors can share coupon codes or promote other services. Sharing coupon codes in the course review section is not permitted though.
If you come across anything like this, please feel free to report it by emailing policy@udemy.com or clicking the “Report Abuse” button at the bottom of the course landing page.
Thank you!
