Just Published My First Udemy Course, Welcome Me Everyone...
Hi everyone!
I’m excited and a little nervous! to share that I’ve just published my very first course on Udemy! It's been a journey of planning, recording, editing, and learning along the way—and I finally hit the “Publish” button!
My course is called: "The Ultimate Blueprint for Preparing Your Airbnb to Shine | Learn how to be a Productive and Efficient Airbnb Host" - and it’s designed to help Beginners who are interested in Airbnb hosting.
Questions: What Next Everyone? Any tip or Ideas?
I’ve been browsing this forum for tips and motivation throughout the process, If anyone has advice for promoting a new course or what to expect in the first few weeks, I’d love to hear it.
Wishing everyone success in their teaching journey!

Hello @TeachEverything
Welcome to the Udemy instructor community, we’re excited to have you with us!
Congratulations on publishing your first course, it’s a great starting point and the beginning of an exciting journey ahead.
If I can offer one tip, it would be to start exploring how to market your course effectively. This Marketing Resource Post brings together helpful tips and discussions from experienced instructors that can guide you in reaching more students.
Hope you find it useful, and again, welcome aboard!
Best regards,
Hi everyone, I could use a little help!
I just noticed that my course is showing a price of $44, but I didn’t set that. In fact, I’m currently running a discount, but the discounted price isn’t showing up on the course page.
I’ve double-checked my coupon settings and pricing, and everything looks right on my end. Has anyone experienced this before? Could this be related to the Deals Program or Udemy’s pricing algorithm?
Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated—thanks in advance!
Hi @Fernando C.
Thank you for sharing the link to the marketing post. Unfortunately the link doesn't work. Would you mind sending the correct link?
Thank you,
Onur
Hi @Onur1,
Thank you for your interest in our marketing resources. These resources are available in our Published Instructor Club, which is exclusively accessible to instructors who have published at least one course on Udemy. Once your first course is live on the platform, you'll be able to access the club and its content.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime.
Hi Onur,
Thanks for following up, and congratulations on publishing your course! I've just updated your permissions, and you should now have access to the Published Instructor Club.
Enjoy exploring the community!
I like your Introductory video - and wish you well. You have stiff competition though from 48 other courses and one Best Seller twenty-two times longer than yours - and it’s up to date. In fact the top five courses in your niche are all longer than yours. So what you could do is go through their courses, noting the key points of the 5 and 1 star reviews. Also watch all their preview videos and then think what could be added to your course. Also what could make your course stand out?
