@KatieBent are these lower prices accounting for the Brazilian reality? While I understand that a student in the US or Europe may buy a course for U$9,90, that translates to about R$40,00 and there are several studies that show that Brazilians are not willing to pay more than R$30,00 for online courses. As a matter of fact, R$30,00 is already considered too high a course since studies have shown that most Brazilians are willing to pay a top of R$20,00 for online courses. The lowest personalized price I've been able to create in my course is R$27,90 and you are explaining that that is the lowest price Udemy offers the courses for in their promotions. My courses are in Portuguese aimed at Brazilians and what this policy currently is telling me is that my courses will only be available at a price Brazilians are willing to pay for for 10 days a month if I create two lowest price campaigns and one personalized price, because Udemy's lower price will be R$27,90. Have you tested these prices in the Brazilian market or are you applying a test you made in a US market, where people have more money and more purchase power, to all markets? Because your answers contraditct market researches that are available for the Brazilian market. Can you share the Brazilian numbers that prove Brazilians will buy courses at R$27,90? So far this month, since the implementation of the new policy, my sales, that weren't that high, have dropped. And my sales are in their majority through Udemy's Organic sales and promotions, not my cupons. Are you looking into this. If the sales in the Brazilian market continue to drop, will Udemy revert back or is this a done deal that you will maintain regardless of results in the Brazilian market? I'd like to know so I know how to focus my material. If I should continue to create courses in Portuguese for Udemy or if I should focus on the English speaking market on Udemy and leave the Portuguese courses for another platform. I understand Udemy is an international platform that is not going to bother, nor should they, with creating a personalized price policy for Brazil if it's not interesting for them. But, as some have mentioned here, we the instructors need a little more clarity on this so that we don't waste our time with creating courses for Udemy that are aimed at a market Udemy isn't interested in when we could be creating the ones you are interested in. By the way, this isn't just about my cupons. The majority of my sales comes from the Udemy organic sales, that's what's dropped. That's what I am worried you are offering at too high a cost for the Brazilian consumer. Thank you for your attention. Adriana
