Welcome to Udemy’s Instructor Community! We’re so happy you’re here.
New platforms can be difficult to navigate for the first time, so we’ve put together a quick guide to help you find the best place to ask questions and get advice.
Sections & forums
Studio U is a space for all Udemy instructors — aspiring, just published, or veteran — to connect and exchange ideas. If you’re brand new to Udemy, Studio U is the place to start.
Within Studio U, we’ve divided the conversation into four forums:
Published Instructor Club is an exclusive space for published Udemy instructors. When you publish your first course, you will immediately get access to this section.
Within Published Instructor Club, we’ve divided the conversation into four forums:
International communities
Our Instructor Community has members all around the world, so we created international communities in different languages to enable non-English speaking instructors to share their experiences with their peers.
We have Studio U communities in:
You can switch between the different language communities by using the toggle in the lower right corner of the site.
In each international community, we have two forums:
Posts & replies
Other features
We hope this quick guide was helpful!

Any plan for an Italian Studio U community too?
02-12-2019 06:47 PM
Hey @andreacolangelo, we decide when to start a new international community based on a number of factors and part of that is instructor demand and engagement. If we see a lot of instructors from a certain locale (like Italy) participating a lot in our current communities, we’re more likely to start a space just for them!

Thanks for putting so much effort into the new community site!

Whenever I press the like button on any of the post , it doesnt give me an indication that I have already liked the post like in facebook . It still stays the same color.
I think sometimes this can get irritating when we are revisiting posts later .

I second that idea. Also emotions than just “like” would be fun.

Thanks for the feedback! I've shared this with the team and we'll see what we can do about getting this updated 🙂

Yes, you are right!

I didn't find a board that seemed more appropriate to post this request so I guess this will make me now have 2 requests
1) Could we have a "follow" feature in this community? There are some instructors that are constantly writing helpful post or replying to others with very helpfull tips. In short, most of the things they write are worth reading. I'd love to be able to follow them. I tried searching for their name and I got no results.
2) Perhaps we could add a "Features Requests Board" for posts like this one?
Thanks Udemy, nice being here 😃

yeeeh, I miss Scott Duffy 🙂

It was actually him I was trying to find. Eventually I searched only for Scott and all user names with variations of "Scott" came up. So I did find him, the thing is that you get a list of all the post he has posted so far which, luckily, by now are not many yet.
However when he has written 50 or 100 or more comments it could become a little confusing.
I hope someone from Udemy is reading this...

Hi Myriam,
A Follow feature seems useful.
How about a "block" feature?
Just kidding. I'm glad we don't have it.

@MyriamZuzs To search for a person, put in their username, search, and then select "Users". You'll be able to find them that way!
Here's a screenshot:
You can leave feature requests on this thread (which is where I'm going to move this thread to once I hit reply!).
