Is the seated position okay to record a course from?

HI wondering if it's okay to record while you are sitting down or do you recommend the stand up faceing a camera position. I already have an online coaching business and teach most of my clients on Zoom as of late, Skype before where I'm seated. 

Also is it okay if I don't use a plain backdrop but rather a nice room with a sofat behind me and a painting and that's it. 

Or is it recommended to use a plain backdrop?

@Omar070 Seated position should be fine. All my test videos were in a seated position, and I got approval for them. They primarily check Video/Audio quality and pace.

Coming to the backdrop, if you already have a nice room set up with adequate lightings then you may not need a backdrop. 

My suggestion is, please go ahead and shoot a test video and send to review before you buy anything. This is what I did.
