Hello! I'm heppy to be planning my very first course. I am just wondering - what recording software do most people use? I am relatively new to that piece of things and am not sure what to use. I'd like to get something reasoably priced (Free would be ideal until I'm certain I'm going to like and commt to this). Thanks so much for any feedback you can provide! Heather

This really depends on what kind of course you're going to record: talking head, screencast demonstrations or PowerPoint presentations. I do all three.
I use Camtasia 2018 running on Windows 10. I read good things about ScreenFlow on Mac. Others will undoubtedly throw out other free options.
Camtasia is expensive ($299 unless on sale). You can however get a great deal done on a 30-day free trial of the product.
Hope this helps,
---Brian
