How do I split one course with too many lessons into two courses

Go to solution

I've built a course but not published it. I realise there are too many lessons and want to split it into two individual courses. Anyone know how without re-loading all the content?

To split your course into two without re-uploading content, you can:

  1. Duplicate the original course.
  2. Remove the lessons you don’t want from each course to create two separate courses.

This method allows you to manage the content across both courses efficiently.

If you uploaded the videos using the bulk upload tool, they should be available in the new course after removing them from the other. Otherwise, no.

Also, are you sure you need to split it? Longer courses often sell better than shorter ones.
