Hi @ChrystieV

Thank you for explaining these ranks! I appreciate these efforts!

However, I still see some issues. I guess the ranks you mentioned are in order. For example, a specialist progresses to attain the rank of mentor progresses to become a visionary progresses to become a role model. But the individual profile says something else. For example, for me, the next step, it says, become a specialist! Not a big issue, but its confusing.

Thank you @AnupShukla for catching this. We have updated the ranks above to accurately reflect the progression of the ranks. You are correct, as a visionary your next rank will be Specialist.

Thank you for the explanation I can understand the ranks.

Not sure why this was a necessary change, but thanks for the explanation.

It's encouraging to have these ranks. I have a question: does an instructor have one overall rank, or do they have a different rank for each language?

Thanks, team!

Hi @RaquelCoelho, great question! Your rank will remain the same, regardless of the community you're engaging with. The only thing you'll notice is that your rank will be localized when visiting different language communities, but your progress will be the same. I hope this helps!

Thank you for explaining that, @Bella ! That made sense! I think what confused me was that I was in one of the communities and by the time I had moved into the other community, I must have passed a threshold to another rank. Funny!

Thank you @Bella, for sharing such important information

😘 We know the ladder steps better now, thank you @ChrystieV .

Thank you for outlining the ranking system. Udemy's approach of encouraging instructors to engage in communication, participation, and collaboration within the community is an innovative method. This not only makes the instructors feel valued, but also ensures that their efforts are rewarded.

The ranking system encourages anyone to work harder as they look forward to achieving a better rank.

Thank you.

Thank you, ChristieV
