Hi All,
I am a new course creator and was wondering what is a good time per day that needs to be spent on effective course creation that will benefit a wider audience.
Thank you.

I spend about 4 to 6 hours per day as I am still doing this part time.
e.g.
2 hours in morning: creating scripts and slides
2 hours in afternoon: recording
2 hours in evening: editing

I spent six months developing my first course and that was a subject that I had taught for many years. A year or two later I completely re-recorded all of the lectures, realizing they weren't very good.
How many hours a day is just a matter of your personal work habits.

Thank you. This was helpful for sure.

It will depend on the topic and how you wish to present it. Being a newcomer, you should start with a few short courses, i.e. less than 2 or 3 hours. By doing so, you will experience things on your own. Then, in a month you should plan your basic course and aim at concluding it within 15 to 30 days. You should be working 3 to 5 hours a day for such a course.
