The courses that are paid on platform have a different meaning than the courses offered for free. The tendency of student to get enrolled in course is just because it is offered for discounted price ( incase of paid courses). The free courses on other hand are just like having something for free and not using it afterwards.

Hi Kazi Ariyan, I faced the same issue too. Frankly, I don't believe I deserved a one-star rating. Of course, I hope Udemy can help to investigate. It also implied that Udemy Review team were not doing their job if Udemy accepted one-star rating, as if Udemy approved a "rubbish" course. However, I sincerely believe Udemy Review team had done a great job and took the time to review and ensure the course meeting certain standards before approving the course. While. I have posted my article elsewhere and was classified as featured article (because of high quality content). However, got only 1 star on Udemy despite providing it as a free course, together with full course materials (PowerPoint slides and Transcripts). All I can think of was maybe the person was in the bad mood, trying to release his/her stress. Or, it could be somone trying to sabotage you (because you are doing too good). Think it possitively, there are many ways to success. (",)

Just released a major course with co-instructors, I have another with co-instructor scheduled for Q1 2020 and a solo one for Q2/3 2020. I am hoping to expand my team with an editor and another VA. I hope to in Q2/3 to update my flagship course to a new version. Depending on how that timeline works our I may or may not add more before the BF Q4 prep. Then there is the move to Puerto Rico from Hawaii, that will take some time and effort.

Literally, just today finished my 12th course. Exactly as planned. 7 hours long and I think it came out quite well, if I may say so myself lol. I'll work on the promo copy tomorrow, and it should be ready to submit. With each course, the process is getting smoother and easier for sure.

Maybe what you want is PayPal or Payoneer to support bitcoin withdrawal. But they would never, ever do that for the same reasons as above. Plus PayPal makes its money on fees so they don't want to do it.

Background music is allowed, but is not generally favored by students. The instructor just needs to ensure that they follow whatever copyright there is for the music they are using if they decide to use any. Some use music in an intro or outro, or in their preview video. I would certainly highly recommend it not be play in the entirety of the video.

I am not asking about copyright. I already know I have to give attribution. I am simply asking where people put this. unless Udemy has specific rules about where you can or cannot put the attribution - it is not a policy issue. It is a design issue. Do you put them in a document? At the end of the video? Any other options?

CC0 can be difficult, how do you know it is CC0? Just because Bob publishes it as CC0, do you know that Bob does actually hold the copyright on it? What if it was actually John who owns the copyright, he can now sue Bob and you (it has happened to Udemy instructors). I would avoid it if it was me, it is easy and cheap, but it can cost you $1000's.

Yup, i had many students buy my courses as gifts, but it seems he was buying them with huge discount, i earned 1.25$ from each of his sale so he wanted to buy them cheap, then sell the accounts i think.

Hi Thor... I put voice over the top of each slide and I got told once I was finished I had to save it all as an MP4 or video format.. I have some courses which I bought and they have been done exactly how I've done mine.. I just don't know why it's not working.. I think it's because I can't get it saved as an MP4... I created my whole course in 2010 powerpoint.
