Hi, I'm a new instructor on Udemy with just one course so far. 

Despite reading up all that I can, I can't work out why I only seem to earn 2 - 3 USD each time a student purchases my course. I had thought instructors get 50%.  I'm sure I've missed something but could anyone explain please?

You can check if you opted into the Instructor Promotional Agreements and Udemy Deals. 

If this isn't the case, please reach out to instructorsupport@udemy.com so they can further look into this for you.
