Hello,

I don't understand Tax Identification number.

Can someone shed more light on that for me please.

Hi @ Dzuya

Thank you for your question!

If you're not based in the U.S., your Tax Identification Number (TIN) will typically be the tax number issued by your local government. The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) provides a resource page detailing the names and formats used for TINs in various countries. You can find it here.

If you are still unsure which number to provide, we recommend consulting a tax professional who can speak more directly about your situation.

Additionally, you can reach out to our instructor support team through our Help Center by clicking here and, then, selecting "Contact us" at the bottom-right corner of the article. They'll be happy to assist you with any further questions you may have regarding our tax processes.

I hope this helps! 😊

Hello Mdm. Caroline M,

Thank you very much for your response.

It has helped me indeed.

I now know the Kenya government equivalent of TIN.

In Kenya it is PIN number, which i have. So, is it that number i am to provide.

Thank you very much.
