As you know, learners come to Udemy to improve their lives by gaining new skills – and your great content helps them do just that. Many have specific career goals such as breaking into a new field or advancing in their current role. For these career-motivated learners, industry-recognized certifications can help them demonstrate what they've learned and achieve these goals.
We're happy to announce that we're making it easier for learners to explore and earn credentials from industry-recognized certification issuers, such as Microsoft AZ-900, CompTIA Network+, and PMI-ACP. This will be a long-term project, rolled out in phases. We'll start by making it easier for subscription learners to identify different certifications Udemy courses can help them achieve, and the courses that can help them prepare. If you have a course in a Udemy subscription whose primary topic is a supported certification, it will automatically be included in these efforts – no action required.
Further out, we'll look into ways to bring these discoverability benefits to learners on the marketplace. We'll also explore how to help learners show off the certifications they've earned, particularly those whose employers are investing in their learning through Udemy Business.
We're excited about this effort to help learners connect what they're learning to what they can achieve in their careers. As we make more updates, we'll be sure to keep the instructor Community posted.
