What is a virtual coffee chat?

On January 25th, we had the pleasure of having an AMA-style webinar with our Senior Director, Product Management Jacob Coulter and we wanted to share a recap of what we discussed.

As background on who Jacob Coulter is and what he does here at Udemy.

Jacob joined Udemy in June of 2022 to bring features to the Udemy platform to help you succeed as an instructor! At the moment his area of expertise is the following:

• Tooling for instructor content management

• Instructor insights (data, reporting, course performance dashboard)

• The learner <> Instructor interactions

Hello Instructors! 

As some of you may have noticed, we have just rolled out a new feature to the community. As of this morning, we have launched a new ranking system so you can see your progress as you engage with the community! In this post, I will go through the ranking system and show you how to navigate it.

Hi everyone,

There has been a delay in the release of the Udemy Business earning figures in the Revenue Report, which was supposed to be available yesterday. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. This issue is currently being investigated by our engineers and we hope to have a solution as soon as possible.

Please note that this doesn't affect when you're paid out, just when the previous month's reporting appears on your Revenue Report.

Once the issue has been addressed, we will post an update in this thread.
