As you might have seen, there is currently an issue with the revenue report where the expected payout date for most months, including August 2022, is displaying as November 7th. We want to reassure you that August payouts are still set to be paid out today, October 7th. We expect to deliver them within the next few hours.
We're working to resolve this issue, and we apologize for any confusion or alarm it's caused. Thank you to everyone who has reported the problem!
Update (6:45 pm PT, October 7): We've encountered some additional issues in getting payment delivered. We've identified and resolved the underlying issue, and continue to work to deliver payout as soon as possible. Payout is currently expected in the early hours of Saturday, October 8th, Pacific Time.
Update (3:15 am PT, October 8): We've sent payment to accounts linked via Payoneer and direct bank transfer, and we're working to get PayPal earnings distributed as soon as possible. Please note that availability of amounts sent may depend on your payment platform's policies or your bank's hours of operation.
Update (6:30 am PT, October 8): We’ve completed sending payment for all payout methods. ✅ If you use PayPal or Payoneer, you should see these amounts right away. If you use bank transfer, the final transference to your account may depend the hours of operation of the relevant banks. If you have questions about your particular payout, please contact Instructor Support.

I've been around since 2015 and this is the first time this happens. Lot's of times we have been paid early.
I waited all day for the August payment. Did not come. Even now the payment is not in my account.

@Bella My mortgage goes out on 8th and my pay hasn't gone through yet... in approximately 5 minutes I will be a little bit screwed. Any update on the ETA of our pay? It's 11.55 pm in the UK.
Hi @Bella thanks for the reply; it's past 5 p.m. here on the east coast of the US, so is it a safe assumption that we won't get paid until Monday the 10th now? Or maybe Tuesday the 11th since banks are closed due to the holiday on Monday in the US?
Also, you called it a "display issue," regarding November showing up twice as the payment date, but isn't it more than a display issue if the payments are delayed until Monday or Tuesday? More like a back-end issue?
I have been on Udemy since November 2014 and this is the first time this has happened as far as I recall.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through challenges with the August payout. We know how important it is to get paid on time, and we're doing everything we can to get your funds delivered as soon as possible. That said, clearly it's taken longer than the few hours we initially estimated.
At this point, the process is running, and we're still expecting to send payment around midnight Pacific Time at the latest. We're also working to confirm that instructors whose payment is delivered via bank transfer will be able to access their payout immediately (versus having it delivered during your connecting bank's business hours).
If our estimated time of delivery changes for any reason, we'll let you know here in the Community.
What is the current situation and the ETA for the payments?
I don't really care about the display issue, but if payments are getting delayed more than you previously stated, we should get an update.
I'm honestly very surprised that no one from Udemy has officially come to provide an update, given that we were assured that payments were going to be sent in the next few hours but it didn't happen.
It's 8:14 p.m. here in Kansas, nine hours after you said the August payments were "going out" today. Nothing is showing up in my bank account yet. What's going on? Why are you not letting us know when we are going to be paid?
I agree with Carlos. I could care less about the "display problem." That pales in comparison with the "delivery problem." What's happened that's causing this delay? I think we deserve to know what's going on. Thank you.
Furthermore, as I'm sure you know, October 10 is a Federal holiday. Most banks will be closed. This is going to cause some major problems for many of us. Please tell us what exactly is going on. Thank you.

Okay you're really using up the goodwill of the title in this post.
Getting paid is the sweetspot of our relationship with Udemy as instructors. If nobody is getting paid that's a substantial amount of money that is not being rightfully disbursed. We've done our part - we've provided our content under the terms of a very one-sided agreement. All you have to do is pay us for the content you have been given. That's all you have to do.
Nobody cares about the date issue and if you think that's what this is about then there's a real problem with our relationship. Odd that it happens right at the last minute though when you should be paying people for the commitment they've made to Udemy.
Get your act together please. This is disgraceful and you seem very casual about it.
You said 54 minutes ago, the payments are going out at midnight, Pacific time. That means that you posted this at around 5:30 Pacific time. Is that correct? If so, are you saying that whatever problem you guys are having will take another seven hours or so to fix? What's going on?

Our teams have identified and resolved the underlying issue preventing distribution of August earnings. Payments are processing, but aren't immediate. At this point, complete distribution is expected in the early hours of Saturday, October 8th, Pacific Time. We want to get you your earnings as soon as possible, and we know you count on us to do so. We're sorry for the delay in this critical process.

I'm surprised, I fall into trouble for the payment. Actually I order a MacBook laptop on 7 October on Cash ON Delivery depending on the income of Udemy. I'm waiting for the payment but received nothing, I'm so disappointing, first time I face this problem on Udemy. Please Udemy take care your Instructor seriously..
Hi @mdabarik -- Sorry, no updates at this time. It's currently 8:30pm Pacific Time on October 7th, and we expect payment to be delivered early on Saturday October 8th. We're still on track for this timeline at this point, but we don't expect it sooner.

In the 8 years I have been with Udemy this has only happened one other time- (and it was a paypal issue) which I think is amazing considering how much there is to organise with payments around the world- and often we get paid early- so thank you Ryan and Udemy for keeping us updated!

Thanks for posting this problem. Same probem is happen with my revenue as you can see. I am in udemy almost 5 years & this is the first time i am facing this problem in my udemy teaching career. But i believe on udemy supports & service. I hope they will solve this issue as soon as possible and we will get our todays pending payment as soon as possible within tomorrow. Because many of our families is depending on this monthly revenue as like me.

@mdabarik I unfortunately can't advise you on how to proceed here -- we're really close to the finish line on our side, but depending on your payout method and its own rules, the funds sent may or may not be available for withdrawal right away. I can only confirm when money has been sent from Udemy's account to the various distribution partners (PayPal, Payoneer, or JP Morgan).
